Bellaire™ Returns & Refunds Policy

At Bellaire™, we are committed to providing high-quality beauty products and excellent customer service. This Returns & Refunds Policy complies with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and applies to all purchases made through our website.
1. 7-Day Cooling-Off Period
In accordance with Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), customers may cancel an online order within 7 days of receiving the product.
To qualify for a refund:
- The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original condition.
- All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and inserts must be included.
- The product must not show signs of use, damage, tampering, or alteration.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective, damaged, or supplied incorrectly.
Refunds will only be processed once the returned item has been received and inspected.
2. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Bellaire™ is, at its discretion and in accordance with South African law:
- Replace the item;
- Repair the item where appropriate; or
- Issue a full refund.
To assist with the claim process, customers may be required to provide:
- Clear photographs of the product;
- Photographs of the packaging;
- The order number; and
- A description of the issue.
Failure to provide sufficient information may delay the processing of the claim.
3. Hygiene & Personal Care Products
Due to hygiene, health, and safety considerations, Bellaire™ DO NOT accept any returns of personal care or beauty products that have been:
- Opened;
- Used;
- Tested;
- Exposed to water;
- Exposed to cosmetic products;
- Damaged after delivery; or
- Altered in any way.
This includes cleansing brushes, beauty sponges, skincare accessories, and similar personal care products.
Products may only be returned if they are genuinely defective or supplied incorrectly.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund unless defective:
- Opened beauty products;
- Used beauty tools;
- Products not in their original condition;
- Products with missing packaging or accessories;
- Gift cards;
- Promotional or complimentary items;
- Clearance, discounted, or final-sale items where stated.
5. Return Approval Process
All returns must be approved by Bellaire™ before being shipped/delivered back.

- Delivery address;
- Contact details;
- Reason for return; and
- Supporting photographs where applicable.
Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused and returned to the sender.
6. Refund Processing
Once the returned item has been inspected and approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for purchase.
- Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
- Original delivery/shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law.
- Refunds may be refused where the returned item does not meet the requirements of this policy.
7. Order Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled before processing or shipment.
Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation requests will be treated as return requests and will be subject to this policy.
8. Delivery Issues
Customers must ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is accurate.
Bellaire™ is not responsible for:
- Delivery delays caused by couriers;
- Failed deliveries due to incorrect customer information;
- Missed deliveries where the customer was unavailable to receive the parcel.
Additional delivery charges may apply if a parcel is returned due to incorrect delivery information.
9. Quality Guarantee
Bellaire™ stands behind the quality of its products. If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact us promptly so that we can assess the issue and provide an appropriate solution.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bellaire™ shall not be liable for:
- Skin sensitivities, allergies, or reactions resulting from individual circumstances;
- Improper product use;
- Failure to follow product instructions;
- Normal wear and tear;
- Indirect or consequential losses;
- Delays caused by couriers, natural events, or circumstances beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for ensuring products are suitable for their personal needs and skin type.
11. Fraud Prevention
Bellaire™ reserves the right to:
- Refuse returns that appear fraudulent or abusive;
- Request additional information before approving a refund;
- Limit or refuse refunds where repeated return patterns suggest misuse of the policy.
Nothing in this section limits any rights granted to consumers under South African law.
